Visit to the doctor
At first, I was very surprised when the receptionist started asking me for all my symptoms.
Do you have a fever? Sore throat? Have trouble eating? Diarrhea?
Right there in the waiting room...I was a little shocked, because they seem like questions that
the doctor should ask, not the receptionist.
Next, when I got in to see the doctor, my partner at the time told the doctor that I'd been taking some medicine that was prescribed to her mother. The doctor was not at all surprised or shocked. He took it as normal that I would do that. In Australia, we were aways taught that you shouldn't take anyone else's medicine...What do you think?
